Philip is an employment lawyer, currently working in house for a NASDAQ listed US tech company where he is responsible for employment law advice globally.
Known as one of the go to employment lawyers in London, Philip holds the Employment Law seat as a Council Member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He is also the former President of the Westminster and Holborn Law Society.
Philip builds strong relationships with clients and finds creative solutions to complex problems. He has advised employers – from start-ups, SME’s to global listed corporations, state owned entities and embassies – on a full range of employment related issues, as well as complex and high-value boardroom disputes.
Philip has represented senior executives, from advising on their contractual terms and obligations when they are starting new roles, to negotiating high value severance packages – ensuring that the overall value of any negotiated package is maximised. He also works with talented women in the City in high-value and complex discrimination, harassment and whistleblowing claims.
Philip has appeared as a legal expert on BBC News; Sky News; ITN News and BBC Radio; lectured for The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and published legal articles/columns for national newspapers and industry press and delivered CPD training videos for international Law Societies.
Philip is a Liveryman and Freeman of the City of London.
